Uruguay approves Double Taxation Agreement (DTA) with the United Kingdom

On October 27, Uruguay approved its agreement to avoid double taxation with the United Kingdom. The agreement will enter into force when UK formalities are met.

Also recently, both governments approved the information exchange agreement on tax matters signed in London back in 2013.

According to official media, the DTA will strengthen bilateral relationship between Uruguay and the United Kingdom and promote investments "giving more and better conditions to companies from both countries.
